Job summary

Dentalcare Group in Reading is seeking a CQC Registered Dental Practice Manager to lead clinical governance, policies, and staff in a mixed NHS/private setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while building strong team relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will oversee recruitment, rotas, appraisals, inductions and engagement efforts, while managing budgets and KPIs to meet targets in a 40-hour week, 8am–7pm, Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clinical governance system and practice policies.
• Recruitment and onboarding of staff; rotas and appraisals.
• Lead a team to deliver first-class patient service.
• Foster engagement and retention through regular touch bases.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CQC and policy.
• Resolve employee relations issues and monitor opening hours.
