Job summary

Dentalcare Group in Reading is seeking a CQC Registered Dental Practice Manager to lead clinical governance, policies, and staff in a mixed NHS/private setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while building strong team relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will oversee recruitment, rotas, appraisals, inductions and engagement efforts, while managing budgets and KPIs to meet targets in a 40-hour week, 8am–7pm, Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in a dental setting.
• Strong communication skills with the public and staff.
• Ability to manage budgets, targets and KPIs.
• Proven professional conduct and reliability in a busy clinic.
• Prior dental practice management experience is essential.

Here at Dentalcare Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate CQC Registered Dental Practice Manager to join our practice in Reading. We are a mixed NHS/Private practice who pride ourselves in putting our patients first and ensuring that we provide the best care.

About the Role

• Managing the clinical governance system and maintaining practice policies including Health & Safety
• Recruitment of support and clinical staff;
• Management of team to include: Rotas, Appraisals as well as inductions
• Promoting a team environment and culture that is committed to executing a first-class service to our patients
• Build productive relationships with associates, supporting strong engagement and retention through regular touch base sessions
• Ensure quality for our patients through full compliance with all internal and legislative requirements (e.g. Health and Safety, CQC, Clinical Governance, Company policy)
• Support and resolve any employee relations issues to a satisfactory conclusion
• Ensure that the practice is offering the best proposition through their opening hours
• Ensure each practice is building their reputation in their local area as the go to dental practice.

You will work 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday

Pay negotiable depending on experience
