NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
There are two permanent positions available: one full-time and one part-time (22.2 hours).
The shift pattern is various, Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30.
(Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.)
The Public Dental Service - Dental Nurse position is based within the Greater Glasgow & Clyde area, supporting clinicians across various settings including paediatrics, adult special care, domiciliary care, emergency care, outreach clinics, theatres, prisons, schools, and the National Dental Inspection Programme (NDIP).
Due to service needs, post holders will cover duties at multiple locations throughout the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
The candidate must hold a recognized Dental Nursing Qualification and be registered with the General Dental Council. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of R4 Clinical Plus (Electronic Patient Management System) and a qualification in Inhalation Sedation.
