NHS National Services Scotland is looking for a qualified Dental Nurse to join their Public Dental Service team. This role emphasizes providing high-quality patient care and requires excellent communication and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will be expected to travel between multiple healthcare sites in Forth Valley, reflecting a commitment to delivering healthcare services effectively in the community. Full induction support will be provided.
An opportunity has arisen within our Public Dental Service (PDS) for a qualified Dental Nurse. We are looking for a highly organised, friendly member of staff to join our Team, who will assist in the delivery of high-quality care to patients residing within Forth Valley.
We would like to hear from you if you are an enthusiastic qualified Dental Nurse, aiming to offer the best care to patients and are a committed Team member. You will work with teams of Dentists and qualified Dental Nurses, to provide surgery and administrative duties expected of a qualified Dental Nurse across Forth Valley. The PDS service operates Monday to Friday, 0830hrs to 1630hrs across 5 healthcare sites and 3 Prisons.
Your location will vary, determined by the needs of the service rota, therefore, the ability to travel to all sites is essential.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
If successful, full induction will be tailored to meet your needs within this role.
The following experience and knowledge are essential requirements of this post: -
· Qualified Registered Dental Nurse (National Examination Board for Dental Nurses Certificate or equivalent SVQ level 3 in Oral Health Care)
· Relevant experience of working in a General Dental Practice.
· Evidence of ongoing professional development.
· Current competence in BLS
· Excellent communication skills
· Team Player
· Good IT skills
