NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Dental Nurse for a fixed-term position until March 2026. This role involves supporting various clinical environments while ensuring high standards of patient care. This is a fixed-term position until March 2026, with a shift pattern from Tuesday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
The Public Dental Service - Dental Nurse role is based within the Greater Glasgow & Clyde area. It involves supporting clinicians in various settings, including paediatrics, adult special care, domiciliary care, emergency care, outreach clinics, theatres, prisons, schools, and the National Dental Inspection Programme (NDIP). The role requires covering multiple locations across the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area to meet service needs.
Applicants must hold a recognized Dental Nursing Qualification and be registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Nurse. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of R4 Clinical Plus (Electronic Patient Management System) and a qualification in Inhalation Sedation.
