Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a mobile FM service provider covering tenanted commercial offices in Moorgate, London. The engineer will perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites.

The role requires electrical qualifications and a track record in building maintenance, with duties spanning M&E, lighting, emergency lighting, AHUs, and BMS systems. On-site work with company benefits is included.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with proven building maintenance experience.
• Must hold City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 17th/18th Edition.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out M&E/Fabric maintenance and lighting tasks.
• Test and maintain emergency lighting and AHUs.
• Oversee BMS systems, water treatment, and HVAC components.
• Escort/sub-contractors as needed and attend client meetings.

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider on a mobile basis covering tenanted areas of commercial Office in Moorgate, Central London. The successful candidates will be electrically qualified (C&G Level 3 Electrical ) and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working alongside the maintenance teams on site, He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across tenanted areas for multiple clients.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Air Handling Unit’s
• Building Management Systems
• Air Conditioning equipment
• Cold Water systems
• Heating and Ventilation systems
• Emergency lighting
• Fan Coil Units
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Escort / organise sub contractors
• Attend client meetings if required
• Ensure site log books are kept up to date

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
• City & Guilds - 17th / 18th Edition
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
