Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for an established FM service provider in the Vauxhall Nine Elms area. You will carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across high end residential estates.

The ideal candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2/3) with 17th/18th Edition, have on-site maintenance experience, and good communication skills. Mon-Fri 08:00–17:00, with a salary of £45k–£48k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3).
• 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E/fabric maintenance.
• Lighting, emergency lighting tests, and BMS monitoring.
• Attend client meetings and keep log books up to date.

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider working across a high end residential development in Vauxhall, South West London . The successful candidates will be electrically qualified (C&G Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical ) and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working alongside the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across high end residential buildings / estate.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Air Handling Unit’s
• Building Management Systems
• Air Conditioning equipment
• Cold Water systems
• Heating and Ventilation systems
• Emergency lighting
• Fan Coil Units
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Escort / organise sub contractors
• Attend client meetings if required
• Ensure site log books are kept up to date

Requirements

• Electrically or Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3

• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
