Job summary

Bulgari Hotel London, un établissement de luxe, recherche un Commis Chef passionné et motivé pour rejoindre sa cuisine pâtissière. Qualifications

  • Expérience en tant que Commis Chef dans un établissement 5 étoiles ou Michelin.
  • Compréhension des normes de sécurité alimentaire et d'hygiène.
  • Capacité à travailler sous pression tout en respectant les standards élevés.

Responsibilities

  • Préparation de tous les aliments dans la cuisine pâtissière.
  • Adhérer aux pratiques d'hygiène et aux normes de service.
  • Suivre les directions du Chef Pâtissier pour garantir la qualité de chaque produit.

Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, Bulgari Hotel London is both a haven of calm in the center of the city and yet a minute's walk from landmarks such as the famous Harrods department store.

Since opening in 2012, Bulgari has set new standards among the luxury hotels of the British capital. Elegant contemporary architecture and Bulgari’s legendary flair for design are matched by the class-leading quality of service.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation of all foods within the Pastry Kitchen, ensuring they are of the highest standards. You will be quick, efficient, and accurate, providing prompt service delivery. Following the clear directions of the Pastry Chef, you will learn the importance of consistency and cost control. You will follow correct hygienic food handling practices and adhere to the restaurant’s cleaning and waste disposal practices.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent kitchen knowledge, along with an understanding of food safety and hygiene in the environment you will work in. You are likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications, although your technical skills and flexibility will be what sets you apart.

To be successful in this role, you will bring experience as a Commis Chef in a 5-star establishment and/or experience in a Michelin-star or AA rosette restaurant. You will be an immaculately presented individual who possesses authentic and impeccable customer service skills.

We encourage a diverse workforce; however, you will be required to have good levels of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK.
