Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Epsom is seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to join a busy school kitchen. You will work with a team to prepare meals for pupils and staff, cooking from scratch with seasonal ingredients and in line with our bespoke menus.

Ideal candidates will have CDP or junior sous chef experience, a passion for great food, and a meticulous approach to hygiene and cost control. This role operates term-time style scheduling and offers a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Ability to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing menus.
• Commitment to high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a team of chefs providing catering for pupils and teachers.
• Produce food for service from scratch using fresh ingredients and brand standards.
• Ensure food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled.
• Follow all Food Hygiene, health and safety policies and allergen procedures.
