Qualifications

• Related work experience: at least 1 year in a customer service role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing ingredients, cooking components, and assembling plates.
• Manage a designated kitchen section (e.g., sauces, vegetables, or desserts).
• Ensure food quality and presentation by adhering to portioning and plating standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Support team collaboration by coordinating tasks with other kitchen staff.
• Handle ingredients safely, following hygiene and safety procedures.
• Assist in training junior staff and commis chefs.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels for your section and report shortages.
• Participate in quality control measures, including taste testing and visual inspection.
