Job summary

The Lanesborough in London is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to support the production of an exceptional food offering across multiple sections. You will work with the finest ingredients and uphold exacting standards under the guidance of senior chefs.

The role requires flexibility to move between stations, a proactive approach to learning, and a commitment to teamwork within The Lanesborough’s brigade. English fluency is essential and manual handling is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within fine dining is preferred.
• Excellent technical cooking abilities and natural talent.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification preferred, before commencement if possible.
• Role involves manual handling and occasional heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of an excellent food offering to the highest standards.
• Be flexible across different sections and proactively develop knowledge, sharing with the brigade.

Candidate Profile

As Demi Chef de Partie, you will be supporting the production of an excellent food offering to the highest standards, being able to adapt when necessary based on guests' requirements. You will be passionate about working with the finest and freshest ingredients. Flexibility is required to be involved in different sections and take a pro- active approach in developing your knowledge in all areas, sharing your knowledge and supporting the brigade.

Key Requirements

• Experience in as similar role within a fine dining restaurant preferred but not essential
• Exhibit excellent technical and natural cooking abilities
• Excellent command of the English language
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification preferred although not essential for commencement as will be certified with the Company
• Please note this role requires an element of manual handling and on occasion heavy lifting
