Job summary

The Lanesborough in London is seeking a Butler Coordinator to promote and deliver the full range of hotel amenities and guest services with elegance and professionalism.

You will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, coordinating with departments, and maintaining a detailed guest history in Opera to ensure a memorable stay for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in a similar 5-star role; luxury London market preferred.
• Excellent English; second language would be beneficial.
• Immaculate grooming standards.
• Strong emotional intelligence, body language and non-verbal communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Drive for exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Willingness to work a 24-hour roster when required.
• Some manual handling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all amenities, facilities and guest requirements within the guest room or suite.
• Respond swiftly to guest requests with a warm, professional approach.
• Coordinate guest preparations by communicating with relevant departments.
• Uphold an extensive guest history using Opera system and the Butler private log.

Candidate Profile

As Butler Coordinator you are able to promote and be confident with all the facilities offered at The Lanesborough. We are looking for our future ambassadors to have a warm and welcoming personality, with high standards of professionalism and a drive to provide a memorable experience to each and every guest. You will be responsible for all amenities, facilities and guests requirements within the guest room or suite. Be attentive and respond swiftly to guest requirements, ensuring genuine recognition and anticipating guests' needs during every step of their stay. Coordinate in preparation for the guests' stay by communicating to relevant departments and upholding an extensive guest's history using Opera system and the Butler private log.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within 5 star establishment is essential and experience in the luxury London market would be preferred.
• Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
• Immaculate grooming standards
• Have extensive knowledge of emotional intelligence, body language and non-verbal communication
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Show drive for Excellent Customer Service
• Be available, flexible and willing to work a 24hr roaster when required
• An element of Manual handling will be required
