Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma London, the original restaurant located in the heart of Knightsbridge. Where our story first began, our iconic London venue serves as the global heart of the Zuma energy. Zuma London is proud to be part of the Azumi Collection.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities as a Demi Chef de Partie will include:

  • Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Actively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
  • Conduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Zuma’s rigorous expectations
  • Prepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team members
  • Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
