ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Dementia Care Manager will involve overseeing the management of the Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company’s dementia care strategy, and managing resources within a specified budget.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that the care plan is accurate, reflects residents' needs and preferences, and is integrated into a person-centred care plan.
• Building caring relationships with residents and their families, liaising with them sensitively and appropriately, acting as an advocate for residents' best interests, and managing conflicts effectively.
• Collaborating with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with dementia and supporting the care team’s participation in these activities.
• Promoting a culture that maximizes residents' capabilities, independence, and quality of life.

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
• A thorough understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
