Job summary

CAF Rail UK is seeking a Demand Planner for Central Stores in Stockport. The role focuses on planning and controlling material and services demand across UK projects, including Overhaul Facilities, and supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation.

You will manage reorder proposals, monitor consumption, and produce reports while ensuring alignment with CAF inventory policies and business needs. The position offers growth within a Real Living Wage employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning and supply chain activities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data governance.
• Proficient Excel skills including macros and pivots.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand planning, inventory parameters, and reorder proposals across UK projects and depots.
• Monitor material consumption and define reorder levels according to policy.
• Produce weekly reorder lists and monthly material reorders.
• Act as SAP Key User for demand planning and support migration to SAP UK.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to align with CAF standards.
