About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee the daily operations of a busy delivery department, leading drivers and pickers, motivating the team to meet targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, maintaining consistency across the team.
• Communicate management information effectively to relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health & safety issues promptly.
• Promote and uphold the brand image through product knowledge, customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Assist the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with legal standards.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.

Candidate requirements

• Experience supervising a small to medium team in a warehouse or transport setting.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
• Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
