Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy delivery operation. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to achieve daily targets. We are passionate about customer satisfaction and require excellent telephone and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, applying a consistent approach with all team members.
2. Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
3. Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting any health and safety concerns to management.
4. Promote and uphold the brand image through product knowledge, customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
5. Support the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
6. Plan, supervise, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.
7. Supervise a small to medium-sized team in a warehouse or transport environment.
8. Experience in a customer-focused environment is essential.
9. Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
