About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy delivery operation. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to achieve their daily targets. We are passionate about customer satisfaction. Excellent telephone and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, maintaining consistency across the team.
• Communicating relevant management information to team members.
• Supervising and maintaining a safe environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health & safety concerns.
• Promoting brand image through product knowledge, customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Supporting the delivery manager in vehicle maintenance and legal compliance.
• Planning and coordinating tasks to ensure effective and timely completion.

Requirements

You will need:

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in warehouse or transport settings.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
