Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Delivery Suite Coordinator for Worcester Royal Hospital on a 12-month secondment. You will cover Delivery Suite and Maternity Triage in a 24/7 service, coordinating staffing and patient flow, while providing clinical leadership and mentorship to the team.

The post requires 3 years Band 6 experience, NMC registration, and involvement in governance and quality improvement. The role supports flexible working within a busy maternity unit.

Qualifications

• Three years band 6 midwifery experience.
• Registered Midwife with NMC registration.
• Mentorship or Supervisor and Assessor CPD.
• Experience in Delivery Suite leadership and governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Delivery Suite and Maternity Triage with a 24/7 service.
• Provide clinical care and leadership guidance to the team.
• Participate in medical staff handovers and consultant ward rounds.
