Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead technical projects with Agile methods, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving transformation initiatives. The role emphasizes agile facilitation, metrics, and continuous improvement, including governance with stakeholders and senior leaders.

The ideal candidate has extensive delivery experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with GDS standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in technical project delivery
• Successfully led difficult technical projects end-to-end using Agile methodologies
• Proven track record facilitating Agile ceremonies for medium-sized teams
• Experience coaching teams on Agile practices and driving continuous improvement
• Specific knowledge in technology domain and/or industry vertical

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies with ability to adapt to team needs
• Strong experience with Agile metrics analysis and process optimization
• Proven ability to scale Agile practices across multiple workstreams
• Experience managing dependencies and coordinating cross-team sprints
• Skilled at backlog management, user story refinement, and acceptance criteria definition
• Track record of improving team velocity and delivery predictability
• Experience with Agile tools and reporting (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)

Job Description

• Clear, concise written and verbal communication
• Comfortable presenting to C-level executives

Qualifications

• Overall strong Delivery Management / Project Management capabilities
• Experience in Business / Compliance / Process delivery.
• Familiar with implementing strong process control or compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile, PRINCE 2 or PMP and practical experience of same.
• Budget management, commercial and Customer experience.
