Job summary
Version 1 is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment. You will build relationships with customers, drive Agile or Hybrid delivery, and govern projects from scope to risk management.
The role requires 5+ years in technical project delivery, strong Agile capabilities, and excellent stakeholder communication. You will work with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps and report to senior leadership in London.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical project delivery
- Led complex technical projects end-to-end using Agile
- Facilitated Agile ceremonies for medium-sized teams
- Coached teams on Agile practices and continuous improvement
- Knowledge in technology domain and/or industry vertical
- Agile & project management expertise
- Facilitated Agile ceremonies adapting to team needs
- Agile metrics analysis and process optimization
- Scale Agile across multiple workstreams
- Manage dependencies and coordinate cross-team sprints
- Backlog management, user story refinement, acceptance criteria
- Improve team velocity and delivery predictability
- Experience with Agile tools and reporting (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Experience working within GDS
- Digital transformation project experience
- Communication & leadership skills
- Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution abilities
- Stakeholder management across diverse audiences
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication
- Comfortable presenting to C-level executives

- Agile & Project Management Expertise
- Expert facilitation of all Agile ceremonies with ability to adapt to team needs
- Strong experience with Agile metrics analysis and process optimization
- Proven ability to scale Agile practices across multiple workstreams
- Experience managing dependencies and coordinating cross-team sprints
