Job summary

SP Electricity North West, part of Iberdrola and ScottishPower, seeks a Delivery Manager (Craft) to lead LV and 6.6kV/11kV inspection and maintenance crews across a defined area. You will champion safety, manage schedules, costs, and regulatory compliance, and spend time in the field supporting teams while driving continuous improvement.

You will oversee performance, manage resources, handle customer enquiries, and develop talent, with opportunities for leadership development and succession

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in managing teams.
• Technical background and understanding of utility/electrical environments beneficial.
• Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills.
• IT / mobile device literacy.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft teams within a defined area on LV and 6.6kV/11kV networks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive delivery of inspection and maintenance activities, optimise workloads and manage resources.
• Promote productivity, conduct safety audits and uphold a strong safety culture.
• Oversee performance, control unit costs and provide timely management information for continuous improvement.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints and support succession planning and talent development.
• Assist in incident response and resource securing during network events, including occasional out-of-hours work.
