Job description

Join us as Delivery Lead at Barclays, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. The purpose of this role is to manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

To be successful as a Delivery Lead you should have experience with:

  • Management of change projects within large and complex organisations.
  • Development and management of project plans and project budgets that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, budget and resource requirements for change.
  • Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include

  • Experience in Financial Services and ideally Banking (Business/Corporate preferred to Retail).
  • Experience in developing solutions or digital services for Small Medium Enterprise Businesses and Large Corporates.
  • Experience in developing solutions to meet external Regulatory requirements.

This role will be based out of our Northampton location.

Purpose of the role

To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

  • Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
  • Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
  • Management of project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and necessary skills to deliver on project objectives.
  • Management of project budgets, ensuring delivery within the approved budget.
  • Creation of reports on project progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Management of project risks, including identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure successful implementation and embedding in the organisation.

Assistant Vice President Expectations

  • Consult on complex issues; advising People Leaders to support resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify risk mitigation strategies and develop policies/procedures to support control and governance.
  • Manage risk and strengthen controls related to the work.
  • Perform work related to other areas, understanding how they coordinate to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with other work areas to stay aligned with business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex data analysis from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex or sensitive information clearly.
  • Influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
