Working 36.5 hours per week.
The role is hybrid; however, the post holder would be required to work from Birmingham City Council buildings as business needs dictate.

We are seeking a dynamic, bold, and ambitious Improvement Change and Delivery Lead to join our expanding team. As a key member of the Strategy, Governance, and Planning team, you will lead and coordinate a small team of Project Managers and Project Officers to support transformation and continuous improvement programs across the Children and Families Directorate. You will manage an established pipeline of projects developed by the Head of Strategic Governance, Planning, and Improvement, delivering critical programs to embed systematic models of service design and delivery for better outcomes.
You will bring technical expertise and inspire confidence in change management, data, and business analysis throughout project cycles. We seek a confident strategic project management lead capable of delivering effective project and program management systematically.
You are an experienced and credible project and change leader, educated to graduate degree level, with a proven track record of managing and implementing change and continuous improvement programs across multiple workstreams using established methodologies and tools.
You have the ability to lead people, set clear objectives, and build effective stakeholder relationships. You are committed to prioritizing children, young people, and families, managing resources within financial constraints to deliver value for money and positive outcomes.
You are a driven, creative, passionate advocate for children and young people, fostering a nurturing, inclusive culture that values high performance. You will develop your team’s skills and encourage them to thrive.
