Delivery Lead

London Stock Exchange Group, Nottingham, United Kingdom

We are seeking an Agile Delivery Lead to join the World Check One team within the Risk Intelligence Product Engineering organization based in Nottingham.

The role reports to the Senior Delivery Manager and involves guiding Agile teams through planning and executing delivery across the development and release lifecycle for one or two Scrum teams.

Your responsibilities include facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring timely and scope-compliant project delivery. Your Agile expertise will aid in process improvement and high-quality product delivery.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing outputs and dependencies of multiple software development and infrastructure teams.

Specific Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
  1. Ensure effective Scrum ceremonies and activities, initially performing them directly within your assigned team.
  2. Clarify project scope and backlog understanding among all stakeholders, driving governance to baseline scope and manage changes.
  3. Support resource and delivery planning aligned with product and technology roadmaps, managing dependencies with other workstreams using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Asana.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans, tracking milestones, and proactively managing Risks, Issues, Dependencies, and Assumptions.
  5. Assist in resolving delivery or technical blockers, escalating when necessary.
  6. Communicate project and team status effectively through written and verbal updates across teams and stakeholders.
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Experience as a Scrum Master, project delivery, management, coordination, or support role.
  • Background in Software Development, Business/Technical Analysis, or Quality Assurance.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve problems in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
