Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Peterborough is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring high-quality Waitrose produce to customers’ doors with a focus on service. You will manage daily routes, load and secure deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and represent the brand in a friendly, professional manner.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, strong customer service, and the ability to work varied hours.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK manual driving licence (B) with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Good time management to handle deliveries and routes.
• Able to work independently and stay motivated.
• IT literate and comfortable using basic tech.

Responsibilities

• Check daily delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare van; ensure orders are complete for delivery.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and stay road compliant.
• Represent Waitrose with high standards of customer service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support shop team with general duties when needed.
