Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service right to customers’ doors. You’ll start in-store and head out on daily routes, while helping with shop tasks and stock replenishment. You must be 18+ and hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points.

This role requires excellent customer service, good time management, and the physical ability to lift crates. DBS checks and flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK B-category manual licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills and time management.
• Ability to cope with physical requirements (lifting crates).
• Able to work independently and stay motivated.
• IT literate and proficient with basic tech in a delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day and plan efficiently.
• Load and prepare the van, ensuring orders are complete for delivery.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance.
• Be an ambassador for Waitrose with great customer service as priority.
• Assist customers and build rapport, plus support shop tasks as needed.
• Support the wider shop team with general duties when required.
