Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose produce and Partner-led service directly to customers’ doors. You’ll also support in-store tasks when not on the road, contributing to a friendly, efficient shop environment.

Applicants must have a valid B-Category UK driving licence (max 6 points), strong customer service, and good time management. The role offers varied hours and flexibility, with opportunities to assist the wider shop team as required.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting crates).
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries and deliver to customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with their shopping and support the shop team as needed.
