Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring the Waitrose quality and Partner-led service directly to customers' doors. When you're not on the road, you'll help with shop tasks, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, efficient store environment.

You’ll work as part of a friendly team, upholding standards of service and safety on every delivery. This role requires a full UK driving licence and a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to handle physical tasks and

Qualifications

Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
Great customer service skills.
Time management skills.
Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates, moving cages).
IT literate.

Responsibilities

Checking your delivery routes for the day.
Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered directly to customers.
Ensuring all of the appropriate vehicle safety checks are complete on your van, maintaining full road compliance, health and safety.
Being an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road with great customer service as your number one priority.
Helping customers with their shopping and building a rapport with them based on trust and service.
Supporting the wider shop team when required with general shopkeeping tasks.
