Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring quality produce and Partner-led service directly to customers’ doors, while supporting stock replenishment and shop tasks when at the store. You’ll be an ambassador for the brand, delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a friendly team.

Role requires independence, a full UK driving licence, and ability to handle physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Able to cope with physical demands of the role, including lifting crates and moving cages.
• Independent and self-motivated with adaptability.
• Basic IT literacy and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Check daily delivery routes and plan efficient travel.
• Load and prepare the van, ensure orders are ready for delivery to customers.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and safety.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with high standard of customer service on the road.
• Assist customers during deliveries and build rapport based on service.
• Support shop colleagues with general in-store tasks when required.
