Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring Waitrose produce and Partner-led service to customers’ doors. You’ll support the shop when not on the road and help maintain stock and housekeeping. Candidates must be 18+.

Responsibilities include planning routes, loading vans, performing safety checks, and delivering orders with a focus on customer care and reliability. Flexible, customer-facing role with a team-oriented ethos.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Ability to cope with physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• IT literacy for basic handheld devices and scheduling.
• Knowledge of chilled vehicles is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Checking delivery routes for the day.
• Loading and preparing van for deliveries and ensuring orders are complete.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks and road compliance.
• Representing Waitrose brand with high customer service on the road.
• Assisting customers with shopping and building rapport.
• Supporting shop tasks when required.
