Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers, with driving duties and on-foot components. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, supporting communities daily in all weather conditions.

This temporary role involves varied shifts and requires a real commitment to reliable service, safety, and timely delivery. Training and driving assessments are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community.
• Drive a Royal Mail van on your route and deliver items safely.
• Ensure all items are delivered on time and handle election materials where required.
