Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with some parts completed on foot.

Shifts vary and require a can-do attitude; you will pass a driving assessment on start and wear a Royal Mail van on your rounds. A reliable, active lifestyle is a big plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Able to walk 20,000 steps per day and lift up to 16kg.
• Willing to work varied shifts and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, some parts on foot.
• Safely handle election materials and other items per Royal Mail standards.
• Communicate with customers and maintain a high standard of service.
