Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with pride in serving every day.

The role combines driving a Royal Mail delivery van with time on foot, and requires passing a driving assessment at start. Shifts vary and pay rates are set per shift. Potential for permanent opportunities exists.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances and carry items up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a Royal Mail round.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Ensure items are delivered securely and in line with standards.
