Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Delivery Driver in Wantage to join our community-focused team. You will be responsible for delivering letters and parcels in your round, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of your route to ensure items reach their destination safely and on time.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence (max 6 points), the ability to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and flexibility to work variable shifts. A driving assessment will be required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts vary; able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your Wantage delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van as part of your round and walk parts of your route.
• Deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide excellent community service and reliable, on-time deliveries.
