Job summary

Royal Mail in Thatcham seeks enthusiastic delivery drivers to join our flexible team. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and stay active throughout the day.

A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points), good fitness for long walks, and flexible shifts are required. The role is temporary with potential to become permanent. Pay updates per shift available.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must be able to walk long distances and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; need to be flexible to start times.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels in your route.
• Deliver items on your route, including election materials and certain restricted items, in line with standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, providing reliable and punctual service.
