Royal Mail is seeking a flexible Post Person with Driving in Dingwall to deliver letters and parcels across the local area, combining driving with short periods of walking to reach every address.

You will drive a Royal Mail van, follow business standards, and pass a driving assessment at start. This role offers a chance to serve the community while staying active, with shift-based pay and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary; team players needed for short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van and completing parts of the route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and other items per Royal Mail standards.
• Contribute to the community by providing reliable, friendly service in all weather conditions.
