Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Post People with Driving to join our delivery network. You will drive routes and complete walking segments, delivering letters and parcels with care and efficiency to the local community.

As the face of Royal Mail in your area, you’ll ensure items arrive safely, sometimes handling election materials and other items per policy. You’ll join a dynamic team, with a focus on reliable service and adaptability to shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances (up to 20,000 steps per day) and lift mail up to 16 kg.
• Flexible shifts; able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across a delivery area, driving and walking parts of the route.
• Securely deliver all items and handle election materials as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service in the community.
• Pass a driving assessment at start.
