Job summary

Frontier Agriculture Limited is seeking a Delivery Driver based at Hermitage on a permanent full-time basis to join our team. You will deliver a range of agricultural products to farms, conduct vehicle checks, and work with office and stores teams to plan routes.

You will be a good communicator, able to work under pressure, and flexible to busy periods with overtime. A Full UK driving license (Category C) is required; LGV/CPC training will be provided where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence; LGV Cat C training provided for the right candidate.
  • ADR & CPC training provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of agricultural products to farms.
  • Plan and optimise delivery routes with office/stores teams.
  • Conduct vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
  • Provide high standards of customer service as the face of the company.
  • Be flexible with working hours during busy periods including overtime.

We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join the Frontier team, based at Hermitage on a permanent full-timebasis.

You will be carrying out day-to-day activities of the site; to assist in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations whilst being a part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability while delivering a high standard of customer service.

About You
  • Good communicator with the ability to consult with all team members and site management team
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontiers ICE values
  • Adapts quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, whilst providing a responsive customer focussed service
  • Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontiers business
  • Adopts a customer first mindset while ensuring that compliance is maintained at all times that where relevant all internal procedures are adhered to at all times
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others and to work without supervision
  • Full UK driving license + Category C driving licence (LGV Cat C training will be provided for the right candidate)

  • Working with our office and stores teams to pick and plan delivery routes
  • Conducting vehicle checks
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service whilst being the face of the company
  • Flexibility with working hours during busy periods including overtime
  • Your Role
