Job summary

Frontier is seeking a dedicated HGV driver to join our professional team in the UK. Based at our Burton-on-Trent location, you will haul goods to customers and sites, prioritising health and safety and customer service.

The role includes daytime work with occasional nights away, and ongoing driver welfare support. We offer in-house Driver CPC training, a supportive learning culture, a mobile device for connectivity, and generous benefits including health checks, holiday entitlement, and pension

Qualifications

• Class 1 HGV Licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.
• Customer-facing delivery experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Transport products between Frontier locations and customers with emphasis on health and safety.
• Operate mainly daytime shifts with occasional nights away as needed.
• Represent Frontier professionally as a point of contact during deliveries.

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our professional Class 1 driving team at Frontier on a permanent full-time basis. Your base location would be: Burton-on-Trent

We are more than just a haulage company. At Frontier, you will join a community of professional drivers who are an essential part of our business.

Our fleet of next generation DAF XG/XF trucks are advanced with modern equipment to maximise safety and comfort for our professional drivers including:

• Built-in fridge
• Microwave
• Upgraded mattress

• Loading camera & weigher with in-cab display
• Park air cooling system
• 360-degree cameras
• Digital mirror system

We also invest in ongoing training and driver welfare, as well as paying performance-related bonuses.

As part of this role, the work will predominantly be undertaken during the day, with occasional nights away from home required depending on workflow and business requirements.

Your Role

Transporting product from various Frontier locations, farms, stores, docks, etc., to our customers, with a key focus on health and safety and professionalism.
