Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to serve your local community by delivering letters and parcels rain or shine. You’ll drive a delivery van around your area and complete parts of the route on foot, providing friendly, reliable service and ensuring secure delivery of every item.

This role requires flexibility, the ability to pass a driving assessment, and a willingness to stay active throughout the day as you support customers and businesses with timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexible shifts and ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your local route, in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and perform parts of your route on foot, as required.
• Safely deliver all items, including election materials and certain restricted items, per Royal Mail standards.
