Job summary

Plumb Centre in Kirkcaldy (KY2 5DH) is seeking a part-time 3.5t Delivery Driver to join our busy branch. You’ll carry out multi-drop deliveries to local customers, load and unload as needed, and represent the brand positively on every interaction.

This permanent 20-hour-a-week role from 07:30 involves some warehouse duties, health and safety checks, and potential occasional overtime. A full UK manual driving licence is essential and prior 3.5t multi-drop experience is desirable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t van for multi-drop deliveries to local customers in Kirkcaldy area
• Load and unload deliveries as required and maintain accurate records
• Assist in warehouse duties such as stock checks, picking and packing
• Adhere to health and safety standards and complete vehicle checks daily
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and represent Plumb Centre professionally

As a **Part Time 3.5t Delivery Driver** based in **Kirkcaldy** you’ll be responsible for: * Driving a 3.5 T van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)* Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand* Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects* Loading and unloading deliveries where required* When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying This is a permanent part time position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a start time of 07:30am. You will predominately be working mornings but need to be flexible to cover potential afternoon deliveries.
