Job summary

Hayley Dexis in Hereford is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our branch. You will start by loading the van and preparing delivery notes, then complete deliveries to customers in the Hereford area with reliability and care.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a permanent contract, and a competitive salary with benefits including pension, healthcare, and PPE. You’ll work with the Hayley team to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load the company van and prepare delivery notes.
• Complete timely deliveries to customers around Hereford.
• Maintain safe driving and professional customer service.
• Support ongoing operation and adapt to schedule changes.

About the Delivery Driver role:

In this varied role you’ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in Hereford, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You’ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the areas surrounding Hereford. You’ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.

We’re looking for someone with a good mix of previous driving experience as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. A full UK driving licence is needed for this role as our vans are manual.

What we’re looking for in our Delivery Driver:

• Full UK driving licence (our Hayley Dexis branded delivery vans are manual)
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role
• A good knowledge of the local, geographical area
• A keen eye for health & safety awareness
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry.
• Good level of physical fitness
