Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking immediate-start van drivers for a temp-to-perm position across the UK. You will deliver goods with early starts (4am–6am) and 10–12 hour shifts, 4–8 drops per shift, handling heavy goods with provided equipment. Aged 1 year van driving experience and clean licence are required. You may work Mon-Fri with optional Saturdays for overtime.

This role offers £13.50 per hour, pro rata holiday accrual, and no visa sponsorship. Open to UK applicants only.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with fewer than 4 penalty points.
• At least 1 year of commercial van driving experience.
• Comfortable with heavy goods and long shifts.

Job Description

Immediate starts available for van drivers with great customer service looking for a temp to perm opportunity!

You will be delivering goods across the UK with early starts but early finishes perfect for enjoying sunny afternoons after work!

You will be expected to deliver goods in a timely manner – this is not a multidrop position however, you can expect between 4-8 drops per shift. The distance travelled is the reason for the early starts.

You should be comfortable with handling heavy goods although you will be provided with full equipment.

Working Hours: Start times will be between 4am and 6am. Shifts are 10-12 hours roughlyWe have shifts available Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays, the Saturdays are completely optional though and only if you want the overtime.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• To drive a car or motorcycle – this is because of the client’s location.
• A minimum of 1 years’ commercial van driving experience
• No more than 3 points on your driving licence
• A positive attitude and to be happy to work either solo or as part of a double manned team (depending on the nature of the goods being delivered)
