Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment Solution - Droitwich Driving is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver / Loader for our busy Hereford depot. You will split your time between warehouse duties and driving, picking and loading orders before heading out on multi-drop deliveries to customers.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, practical van experience, and a focus on safe driving, accuracy, and excellent service. The position offers full training, career progression, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience driving a 3.5T van; Category C1 is a plus.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Load and secure products onto delivery vehicles.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Rotate stock and replenish warehouse stock where required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Follow Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.

Job description

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Loader to join a busy depot in Hereford.

This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with driving. You'll be responsible for picking and loading customer orders before heading out on multi-drop deliveries, ensuring products reach customers safely and on time.

Hours

• 37.5 hours per week
• 5 shifts per week (Sunday to Friday)
• Day shifts, typically 9:00am – 5:00pm or 10:00am – 6:00pm

The Role

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Load and secure products onto delivery vehicles.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Rotate stock and replenish warehouse stock where required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience driving a 3.5T van (7.5T / Category C1 licence is an advantage).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible with duties and working schedules.
