Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking Self-Employed Drivers to join our Peterborough-area distribution network, offering security and flexibility as you manage your own schedule.

You will run a fixed early-morning route delivering newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers daily, with on-site onboarding and weekly pay. A valid UK/European driving license and 3.5t van access are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/European driving licence.
• Access to a 3.5t van (or guidance to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Complete a fixed daily route delivering newspapers and magazines.
• Deliver to 20–30 customers per day in the Peterborough area.
• Collect returned newspapers and bags; scan items on return to depot.

Pay: Up to £37k per annum Start-up payment of £500*

Location: Peterborough Area

Time: Early Morning (03:00 am – 09:00 am) 7 days a week.

Key Services:

• Warehouse work: Packing newspapers for your route
• Completing a fixed route daily

• Scanning Newspapers and returned items upon return to the depot
