Job summary

Smiths News in Lincoln area is seeking self-employed delivery contractors to join our growing distribution network. You will operate a fixed early-morning route, delivering newspapers and magazines to 20-30 customers, and handling returns at the depot.

You must own or have access to a van and hold a valid UK/European driving license. Shifts run 03:00–09:00, seven days a week, with weekly pay and the freedom of setting your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/European driving license is required.
• Access to a van is required.
• Self-employed contractor status is needed.

Responsibilities

• Pack newspapers for your route.
• Complete a fixed route daily.
• Deliver newspapers and magazines to 20-30 customers per day.
• Collect returned newspapers, magazines and clean recycling bags.
• Scan newspapers and returned items at the depot.
• Van carrying capacity should be between 1050kg and 1200kg depending on route.

• Van must have a carrying capacity of between 1050kg to 1200kg (Depending on route)
