Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking Self-Employed Delivery Contractors for the Peterborough area. Start with a paid onboarding period and operate fixed morning routes delivering newspapers to 20–30 customers daily.

Early morning shifts (3:00–9:00) seven days a week, with the opportunity to grow your own business through multi-route work and weekly payments. A van is required or assistance provided to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/European Driving License required.
• Access to a 3.5t van is required or arranged.
• Self-employed status is needed for this role.

Responsibilities

• Pack and route newspapers for your deliveries.
• Complete a fixed daily route.
• Deliver newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers daily.
• Collect returns and recycling bags at depots.
• Scan newspapers and returns on return to the depot.

Pay: Up to £37k per annum Start-up payment of £500*

Location: Peterborough Area

Time: Early Morning (03:00 am – 09:00 am) 7 days a week.

Key Services:

• Warehouse work: Packing newspapers for your route
• Completing a fixed route daily
• Delivering newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers per day

• Scanning Newspapers and returned items upon return to the depot
