Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking self-employed Delivery Contractors to join our Yeovil-area network. You will manage fixed daily routes, delivering newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers each day while collecting returns and processing items at the depot.

Early-morning shifts run 03:00–09:00, seven days a week, with opportunities to grow your own delivery business. The role offers weekly pay and onboarding support with route choices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK/European driving license.
• Access to your own 3.5t van is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack newspapers for your route.
• Complete a fixed daily route.
• Deliver newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers per day.
• Collect returned newspapers/magazines and recycling bags.
• Scan newspapers and returns upon depot handover.

Skills
