Job summary

Landmarc is seeking an operational leader to manage a site at Pembrey Sands Air Weapons Range, Burry Port, in Carmarthenshire. You will lead a multi-skilled team, ensure facilities are safe and compliant, and oversee service delivery for UK Armed Forces training areas.

The role includes workload planning, budget management and maintaining accurate records across operations, training, PPE and equipment, with a strong focus on health & safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in people management, operational leadership or facilities management, or relevant practical application
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, including risk assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work
• Skilled in planning workloads, managing resources and balancing competing priorities
• Proactive approach to problem solving, service improvement and operational delivery
• Effective stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Budget management and workforce planning capability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, maintaining records and producing reports
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on performance, wellbeing, capability and health & safety
• Plan workloads, allocate resources and coordinate site operations
• Manage budgets for operations, training, PPE and equipment
• Ensure training areas, accommodation and estate facilities remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose
• Carry out inspections and identify maintenance and service delivery requirements
• Manage contractors and service providers to deliver work safely and to standard
• Support training bookings, facility handovers and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate operational, personnel, equipment and Health & Safety records
• Build effective relationships with military customers, stakeholders and partner organisations
• Support estate projects and revenue generating activities
